Brian
North Carolina
Brian (36) is self-employed. Brian enjoys many things. When he is outdoors, he enjoys staying active: yard work, sports, bike riding, walking, window shopping, traveling, taking trips to the beach, picnics, camping, visiting state and national parks, swimming, boating and church-related functions. When he is indoors, he enjoys cooking, watching movies, reading, taking care of the house, listening and playing music, exercising and working at his home-based business. Brian says that his greatest strengths are “compassion, love and understanding.” He is a patient person by nature and thinks things through before reacting to a situation. Brian feels that he has balanced expectations in adopting as a single parent. He intends to play the role of both parents until one day he marries and can provide a traditional mother/father environment. Brian feels as though he has a lot of love to give and has thought this decision through carefully. He is ready to jump in with both feet!
Brian would like to adopt up to two male children of Asian, Biracial or Caucasian descent between the ages of 3 to 10. He feels capable of accepting the following conditions: ADD, ADHD, adjustment disorder, anxiety disorder, asthma, attachment disorder, depression, developmental delays, diabetes, drug exposed, eating disorders, mild to moderate emotional, encopresis, enuresis, failure to thrive, fetal alcohol syndrome, hyperactivity, learning disability, legal risk, mild to moderate mental retardation, missing limbs, mood disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, physically abused, physically aggressive, post traumatic stress disorder, reactive attachment disorder and sexually abused.
