Scotty (39) is Retired Military, and works in the local school district. Amanda (36) is a District Court Clerk. Scotty and Amanda describe themselves as a fun loving family. Both Scotty’s and Amanda’s families live close to each other, so they have lots of love and support from their extended families. Amanda works full time in the courts, but would gladly give up her position should they have a child that needs her full time attention! Scotty and Amanda have two adopted daughter. The oldest is on the Special Olympic Swim Team, and their youngest is starting the team in the fall. They love the water and enjoy swimming. Scotty and Amanda live on a small hobby farm, and the girls love the animals. They have chickens, turkeys, and Nubian goats. They live in the country, but not too far from town. As a family they enjoy attending church, and really enjoy their church family. This family is excited about the possibility of once again adopting, and bringing more children into their loving home.
Scotty and Amanda would like to adopt one, female child, of any race, between the ages of 0 to 4. They feel capable of accepting the following conditions: ADD, ADHD, adjustment disorder, anxiety disorder, asthma, autism, bipolar, blind, cerebral palsy mild to severe, conduct disorder, deaf, depression, developmental delays, diabetes, down syndrome, drug exposed, eating disorders, mild to severe emotional, encopresis, enuresis, epilepsy, failure to thrive, fetal alcohol syndrome, heart murmur, hydrocephalic, hyperactivity, learning disability, legal risk, macrocephalic, mild to severe mental retardation, microcepalic, missing limbs, mood disorder, muscular dystrophy, non-ambulatory, non-verbal, obsessive compulsive disorder, oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), paralysis, physically abused, physically aggressive, quadriplegia, reactive attachment disorder (RAD), schizophrenia, scoliosis, seizures, sexually abused, shaken baby syndrome, sickle cell, spina bifida, terminal illness, trach, and tube fed.
