Knutson-Cummings Family

Meet the Knutson-Cummings family! Kelly and Gavin have been married since 2021 and are ready to welcome a child into their home and family! The couple lives in New Jersey where Kelly works at the Bureau of Land Management and Gavin works for Rutgers Business School. This family enjoys spending time outdoors; hiking, camping, or on the water with their two dogs– Yoshi and Scout!

The family plans to maintain a strong relationship after adopting by celebrating birthdays and holidays together, making time for special events and date nights, and surprising each other with acts of kindness. The family also prioritizes a need for self-care and making time for personal interests.

The Knutson Cummings family has attended classes on trauma-informed parenting and are skilled at navigating grief, loss, and anxiety. This couple is described as a true team that displays “an overabundance of love” to family and friends. They are both excited to become fathers and welcome a child or sibling pair into their family!

 The Knutson-Cummings family is willing to consider 1-2 children, any race or gender, and between the ages of 0-12, with the following special needs: ADD, ADHD, Anxiety Disorder, Asthma, Autism, Bipolar, Conduct Disorder, Depression, Developmental Delays, Diabetes, Drug Exposed, Eating Disorders, Emotional/Mild- Moderate, Encopresis, Enuresis, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, Fire Starter, Learning Disability, Legal Risk, Mood Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, ODD, Physically Abused, Physically Aggressive, PTSD, Reactive Attachment Disorder, Run Away, Self Abusive, Sexually Abused, Sexually Acting Out, and Shaken Baby Syndrome.
