The Nie Family

Meet Kristin and Richard Nie! Originally from Canada, the couple now resides in Tampa, Florida! The Nie’s have been married for 17 years now and have two biological children, ages 13 and 15. Richard is the President and CEO of Streamgo Water Solutions, Inc. He can be described as friendly, outgoing, and nurturing. Kristin works part-time as a kindergarten teacher and has a background in working with children in need. Kristin can be described as nurturing, friendly, and mild-mannered.

The family’s interests and simple pleasures revolve around family. They include kayaking, trips to the beach, camping trips, and exploring natural sites in Florida. They go on walks together, play board games, enjoy movies and sports, and dinners out. Kristin and Richard have been counseled on issues related to adoption including potential difficulties and dealing with developmental delays and attachment. The couple has completed 25 hours of adoption parenting training. They love parenting and hope to expand their family as they have a lot of love, knowledge, financial means, and support to share with additional children!

 Richard and Kristin will consider up to 3 children, male or female, any race, between the ages of 4-11 years old with any of the following special needs:
